Typhoon Milenyo (2005)
Due to strong winds, trees ended up falling on homes, streets and even electrical posts which led to black outs, destruction of properties and blockage of passageway for vehicles.
Hanging Habagat (2012)
Majority of the barangay were unaffected but some parts of the barangay experienced short black outs due the strong winds.
Barangay Pilar Village is not really a disaster prone area. But due to heavy winds, trees, posts, and the likes tend to topple to the group. And because of heavy rain, the Check Post of Pilar Village along Pilar village gets flooded due to poor drainage system. Because of this problem, Barangay Pilar Village is currently having its roads drilled because of the National Water Sewerage Authority (NAWASA)/Maynilad operations that will help improve our drainage system. All in all, this barangay gets affected by the weather but the effects of it aren't as grievous as the effects in other barangays.
